Relationships Workshop with EO Perth
October 25, 2013 • Speaking
In Perth, West Australia
On Wednesday the 23rd of October I conducted an evening spousal workshop with the Perth chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. The workshop was titled “Tools & Practices for a Healthy Relationship”. Almost all the members brought their spouses and it was their largest spousal event ever (besides their annual Christmas dinner). Almost 70 people at the event that consisted of 3 hours of workshop and a lovely dinner along the Swan River with gorgeous views of the city.
It was my third event with the EO Perth chapter. Quite rare I was told for speakers to come back this often.
Here’s a write up of the event.
Though the art of maintaining successful relationships is an ancient and profound one, it is not something that is often taught to us in the modern moment. You’ve made a commitment to be with your spouse till “death do us part” but with little to no training in relationships and a lack of tools, it can often prove to be a challenging journey. It’s the most important relationship in our lives and it is well worth investing time and energy into you and your loved one.
For those of you who have attended Dandapani’s workshops, you know of his simple yet highly practical and systematic approach to life’s journey. This workshop on relationships explores topics such as resolving misunderstandings before sleep, why men and women are not the same, investing energy not time in your spouse, making appointments, lovers of the past, cultivating responsiveness, treating your relationship like a business, managing energy with your spouse and children, your partner is not psychic, it’s a home not a hotel lobby, the 50 year plan and much, much more.
