Conversations on the Spiritual Path, St.Louis, Missouri
August 11, 2013 • Conversations on the Spiritual Path, Learn

Great event Friday evening at Jane’s House of Well-Being in St.Louis, Missouri. Our “Conversations on the Spiritual Path” event brought up great questions about religion, the spiritual path, “do we need to pick a religion or can we treat it like a spiritual buffet and pick and choose what we want for various religions?”, karma, “can we attract uplifting souls to reincarnate into our circles?” and more.
Thanks everyone for a great evening and for being so brave to chat about many sensitive topics. And I loved how one person said that many people suffered from “religious PTSD” as we delved into the topic of finding peace with the religion you left. And is yoga part of Hinduism? Only as much as the Quran is part of Islam and the Bible part of Christianity. We explored why so many people in the US do not acknowledge that yoga is part of Hinduism. Is it because by treating it as a separate entity they can finally find something that provides security and clarity without having it be part of an organized religion? And what’s unresolved within you that causes you to emotionally react so strongly to this?
Are there such things as ghosts and if so what are they? How do you protect yourselves from nightmares or astral influences while you sleep? So many great questions. Thanks everyone.

Are you on track?

Where have I been
It’s quite obvious I’ve been absent from posting on my blog. It has been six and a half months since my last post. Over the last twelve months, I’ve invested a significant amount of my energy and time in the creation of my book. That was not the only thing I was absorbed in. Much…

What’s in your suitcase?
The year is fast coming to an end. A new year is often a promise of hope. A time when many people make plans, set goals and resolutions, and more than anything wish for things to be better. In going forward, a good practice to adopt is to look at what it is that we…
