Conversations on the Spiritual Path, St.Louis, Missouri
Great event Friday evening at Jane’s House of Well-Being in St.Louis, Missouri. Our “Conversations on the Spiritual Path” event brought up great questions about religion, the spiritual path, “do we need to pick a religion or can we treat it like a spiritual buffet and pick and choose what we want for various religions?”, karma, “can we attract uplifting souls to reincarnate into our circles?” and more.
Thanks everyone for a great evening and for being so brave to chat about many sensitive topics. And I loved how one person said that many people suffered from “religious PTSD” as we delved into the topic of finding peace with the religion you left. And is yoga part of Hinduism? Only as much as the Quran is part of Islam and the Bible part of Christianity. We explored why so many people in the US do not acknowledge that yoga is part of Hinduism. Is it because by treating it as a separate entity they can finally find something that provides security and clarity without having it be part of an organized religion? And what’s unresolved within you that causes you to emotionally react so strongly to this?
Are there such things as ghosts and if so what are they? How do you protect yourselves from nightmares or astral influences while you sleep? So many great questions. Thanks everyone.

I had a long conversation with Katinka Magnussen from Germany about life’s purpose, workspaces, and priorities. One of the questions that we talked about was how you get to know yourself better. The very simple answer is you have to spend time with yourself. What I mean by that is actually ...Read More
These are the first four paragraphs of Lesson 1.3 in my book, The Power of Unwavering Focus. Without an inextinguishable desire, nothing is achieved. Napoleon Hill, the twentieth-century mystic, said in his book Think and Grow Rich, “Behind this demand for new and better things, there is one qu...Read More
