Print your own FOOD!

Print your own FOOD!

I'm in Los Angeles making my way back to New York after 8 amazing days in Sydney, Australia. As much as I wanted to blog while I was on the road my schedule was pretty much packed from morning to night, leaving me exhausted every night.

So, I'll do my best to post over the next few days some of the highlights of my trip.

One very cool person I met was Ping Fu. We were both speaking at the same conference, Wired for Wonder, and met one evening in the lobby of the hotel. Ping is in the world of 3D printing and opened my eyes to the future of printing capability. What blew my mind away was when she said that they could print food. I initially thought I misheard her and asked again, and true enough they do print food. What would you like? A sandwich? Well, maybe not that advance yet but here are some photos of some of her work and a little insight into Ping that I got off the web.

"Ping Fu is a Chinese-American entrepreneur. She is the co-founder of 3D software development company Geomagic, and was its chief executive officer until February 2013 when the company was acquired by 3D Systems Inc."

Oh, and thanks for the 3D printed iPhone case Ping. A sweet gift!

Now, this stretched my mind. Printing food. An edible cube of sugar printed with sugar powder and held together with starch.

Ping Fu, the genius behind all of this. Her life story is also as amazing.

Take time to reflect each day

Take time to slow your life down enough to spend a few minutes in silent reflection each morning and you will make wiser decisions each day. What's the best way to do this? Designate a place in your home for reflection. It need only be as wide as you need to sit cross legged on t

    Directing Desire

One never really gets to the point in their life where all desire goes away. As my guru says "desire is life". I often hear older people say I don't have desires any more. I beg to defer. You do have desires. You just no longer desire what you use to desire. You have new desires.
