My Visit to Seoul
My Visit to Seoul

I recently posted about giving a keynote at the 2017 World Knowledge Forum in Seoul, South Korea. Once that event concluded, I spent a couple extra days exploring this wonderful city. I’m particularly drawn to historical sites and spent most of my time exploring a few of the main palaces within the city. I did not know what to expect as I had never been to Seoul before or spent much time in east Asia, but I can tell you I loved being there. The Korean people especially made my visit truly memorable. They were nothing but sweet and kind to me everywhere I went. I hope you enjoy these photos.

A traditional Korean structure reflecting perfectly in the Secret Garden.

The use of technology in so many ares of life in Seoul is impressive. And everyone is on a cell phone…..a lot of the time.

I loved the architecture of the roofs. They placed a lot of emphasis on this part of the buildings.

Liking the details on roof tiles a lot.

If not now, then when?

Reflection for this weekend: “It takes tremendous courage, will and self-compassion to break the habits. Challenge yourself to live a different and better way. If not now, then when? Life is ever ebbing away.” ~ Dandapani Photo: Hindu monk at Pasupatinath Temple, Kathmandu, Nepal.
