The Rituals feature was built specifically to help you put the teachings and tools of the Unwavering Focus book (and course) into consistent practice. The feature allows you to create rituals and helps you to practice them each day. The day is divided into four parts namely morning, afternoon, evening and night. In each of these parts you have the opportunity to create a ritual to help you navigate awareness within the mind, develop focus and cultivate your willpower. 

The feature allows you to identify the non-negotiable recurring events in your average day and integrate rituals (practices) into them. You can set reminders for each ritual you create allowing you to be conscious of the time to practice them. 

After performing each ritual or at the end of the day, evaluate how you have performed each of your rituals. The feature keeps track of your self-evaluation score and you can view at any time how you are progressing in the three key areas of the book.

On the Rituals feature within the Dandapani app

How does the ritual feature works?

The day has been divided into four quadrants namely, morning, afternoon, evening and night. 

In each of these quadrants, you can create one ritual for Awareness and the Mind, one for Concentration and one for Willpower. 

You can create rituals throughout the entire day to help you become good at controlling awareness in the mind and developing concentration and willpower.

You will be asked to grade yourself on how well you did on each of your rituals at the end of the day. You will evaluate how well you’ve done based on the rating system. Be honest and strive to improve a bit each month.

Here is how you will score yourself:

3 – I performed the ritual extremely well

2 – I performed the ritual reasonably well

1 – I did not put much effort into the ritual

0 –  I did not perform this ritual

N/A – I could not perform this ritual today due to unavoidable reasons

Only your morning Rituals will be graded, the Rituals in the afternoon, evening and night will not be graded.

Your morning scores will be averaged at the end of 28 days, and you will be assigned one of four statuses based on your self-assessment: 

  1. Accomplished ( 90% or above) 
  2. Aspirant (greater than 80%, but less than 90%)
  3. Grasshopper (greater than 70%, but less than 80%) 
  4. Novice (below70%)

You will have 48 hours to enter your score for your morning rituals. If you don’t grade yourself within 48 hours, your score will default to 0.

You can use the provided examples, or you can edit each ritual to set it to what you want to work on.

To track the progress of how well you are performing your Rituals in each quadrant of the day, click on the settings wheel on the upper right corner of your screen, and select “Open the Rituals Stats.”

If for some reason you need to pause the rituals (you are traveling, there is a family emergency, etc.) and you will not be able to perform your rituals, you can pause them by clicking on the settings wheel on the upper right-hand corner of the screen and choosing “Pause the Rituals.” By pausing the rituals, you will not be assigned a score of 0 for not performing them. When you are ready to resume the rituals, go back to the settings and click “Resume Rituals.”

If you would like to be reminded to perform any of your Rituals in any of the four quadrants of the day, you can click on the three dots on the upper right-hand side of the individual Ritual box, select “Change Reminder” and set a time to be reminded to do your Rituals.

Subscription & Settings

What happens after I sign up for my subscription?

Once your payment is approved you will have access to the rituals via the Dandapani App. You will need to download the Dandapani app via the App Store or the Play Store then use the username and password that you created during payment to log into the app and access your rituals.

You will have access to the rituals as soon as your payment has been approved and processed.

There are two types of subscriptions, monthly and yearly, each can be set up to renew automatically or manually. If you chose to use the manual renewal process you won’t have access after the period has ended.

If you are a current lifetime student of the Unwavering Focus course you already have access to the rituals. Your progress and stats will continue as registered and you don’t need to subscribe.
