Be Specific

Be Specific

It is that time of the year when most people are absorbed in talking about and creating new year resolutions. January 1st brings with it a wave of hope to people allowing them to believe that they can create and manifest the changes they want in their life in the new year. People busy themselves with writing out goals and resolutions.

I’d like to comment on goal writing. In writing out your goals be specific. To create a goal such as “I want to eat healthy in 2018” is too vague. You need to be more specific. Imagine this. If you walked into a clothing store and said to the sales person “ I want to buy clothes” will that be helpful? No. It is not helpful at all. You need to be very specific. It is better to say "I am looking for a pair of business pants". Now they can show you the way to the location in the store where the business pants are kept. Saying you want to eat healthy in 2018 is not enough. What does this even mean? Write it down in detail and be specific.

Self worth and letting go of guilt

I speak often about being affectionately detached towards “energy vampires” that drain you energetically. Sometimes these energy vampires happen to be close friends, relatives and even family members. When this is the case, many people feel guilty about detaching themselves from

    My Environment Shapes Me

The goal defines the path and the path defines the surroundings. Let’s elaborate on this. The first step is to figure out the goal, then comes outlining a clear systematic path that leads us to that goal. Once this is done, we need to establish our surroundings. Our surroundings

    Bringing Awareness to Attention

Now, I’ve already shared with you that the most important thing in understanding the mind is understanding that there is a clear separation between awareness and mind. Once you’ve understood that you are not the mind but rather you are pure awareness moving through different area
