Joyous Children

Joyous Children

Today I thought I'd share some images that I photographed of smiling and laughing children during my many travels to India. These pictures remind me of my favorite quote from my guru, Gurudeva Subramuniyaswami: "Life is meant to be lived joyously." I always jokingly say that life goes up and down like the number of my Instagram followers but whether life is up or down we should never stop striving to live life joyously. I hope seeing these happy kids -- who so enjoyed being photographed -- brings you joy today.

    How do you view atheists?

How should someone on a spiritual path view an atheist? This talk shares a joyful outlook on atheism. “An atheist and an ex-monk walk into a bar…” and they have a great time. Atheists are people too. We don’t have to convert them and we don’t have to convince them of a God. Inste

    Meditation is a Scart

Meditation is a Scart. Scart is a word I coined to refer to something that is a science and an art, hence ScArt. Meditation is a combination of science and art. A science, because it requires a systematic goal-orientated approach based on a solid understanding of the process. And
