Where are you going in life?

My guru, Gurudeva Subramuniyaswami, once said, “There is nothing more important than knowing who you are, the path that you are on and its final end.” Once you begin the process of getting to know yourself, one of the first things you have to do is ask yourself what is it that you want out of this life. To have a clear purpose and a plan leads to leading a joyous and happy life. Why? Because when you know what you want in life you can direct all your energy towards manifesting that. Energy is not scattered on things and people that don’t matter to you or result in complicated life experiences. One of the biggest blessings of knowing what you want in life is you also know what and whom you don’t want. This is priceless.
