Why people don’t change

I don’t want to sound pessimistic but the honest truth is that most people don’t want to change badly enough, and that is why they can’t sustain changes in their lives. You have to want change so badly that you are willing to do what it takes to make it happen in your life. You have to persist, be patience, persevere and ultimately never, ever, give up no matter how long it takes to get the change you are seeking. I have worked on patterns within my mind for decades and I can say from personal experience that my perseverance and my consistency in working on creating the changes I want in my life has always eventually manifested.
