The Journey of Awareness in Meditation

The Journey of Awareness in Meditation

The mystic's goal is to control awareness in his mind.

To separate awareness from that which he is aware of so he can consciously move it to any area of the mind that he wants it to go to.

As he gains mastery over his awareness and a gains a better understanding of his mind, he’s able to take his awareness from the conscious state of mind and move it within. The first thing he encounters is his subconscious - which is a repository of all his past experiences. The mystic works diligently with his subconscious knowing that this is the barrier to his superconscious mind. As he develops greater mastery over his awareness and the ability to navigate it in his mind through his disciplined and consistent practice of meditation he, with his indomitable willpower and unwavering concentration takes his awareness beyond the subconscious and into the superconscious mind.

This superconscious state is his intuitive area of the mind. It’s the mind of light that functions beyond the powers of reason, yes does not conflict with reason. Here’s he begins to experience his higher nature as he goes deeper and deeper in his meditation.
