From Chitwan Jungle to the Himalayan Foothills

Our spiritual adventure in Nepal just concluded but over the next few days I’ll be updating the blog with images from the days that I did not cover as we were in the mountains and had no internet connection…

On April 6th we left Chitwan National Park and headed north west towards the Himalayan foothills. Our destination was Pokhara, a town that sat by a lake and was the gateway to most of the Annapurna range trekking expeditions. It was here that we too would begin our 3 day trek.

On our drive to Pokhara we stopped at this very cool suspension bridge and decided to walk across it. It does not look very high on the photos but it was quite aways up from the river below. Here are a few photos from our walk across the bridge.
