Photo of Pushkar in Rajasthan, India

The photo of the young girl above was taken in the town of Pushkar in Rajasthan. Her pink scarf is almost a mirror of the pink sunset seen over Pushkar's holy lake.

We'll spend 3-nights here in November during our 16-day meditation retreat in India as we join in the celebrations of the Pushkar Camel Fair.

    Rajasthani Villagers

Despite the pretty colorless Rajasthani landscape this land is full of color when it comes to clothing especially the turbans that the men wear. I was in a jeep about 45 minutes outside of the town of Pushkar in a small village when I saw these two men having a chat on the vera
