A Retreat for Entrepreneurs
August 18, 2015 • Speaking
I conduct workshops and retreats regularly for a range of people, organizations and companies around the world but I have to say that I love working with EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization) forum groups. EO Forums consists of 7 to 10 entrepreneurs that meet monthly to offer one another direction based on their experiences. Each EO chapter around the world have a number of forum groups within them.
EO Perth’s Forum F7 group in West Australia were my gracious hosts this past summer for a two day intensive retreat for entrepreneurs.
One of the great things about forum groups is that most if not all the individuals within the group have known each for a while and there is a great trust and confidentiality within the group. This makes a perfect setting for a self-development retreat. It allows me, as a facilitator of the retreat, to take what I do to a whole new level. I can push them, dive deeper with the teachings and tools, and challenge them to explore a different way of looking at life and most importantly themselves.
I have to say this group of individuals took what I shared with them seriously. In the short amount of time that I spent with them (2 days) they had a very good grasp of a lot of what I what taught. I loved it and it inspired me to go even deeper with the teachings on day 2. At the end of this retreat they left with a bag full of monk tools and teachings and I left honored to have been given the highest rating they have ever awarded a facilitator – 9.8. Thank you Forum F7 for an amazing and inspiring 2 days!
