It’s day 1 of our spiritual and photographic adventure that will take us to the Kumbh Mela festival and north India. Our journey begins here in Kolkata. Our travelers have come from Australia, France, the Caribbean, Hawaii, mainland USA and Argentina. Quite a diverse group but with a common goal to go on a life changing spiritual adventure.
We met together as a group for the first time today for our orientation meeting and I took the opportunity to share with the group about our journey, setting a clear goal, health and travel tips in India. After our meeting we headed off to FabIndia to buy some Indian clothing. We ended the night with a semi-formal dinner in a lovely restaurant at the Taj Bengal hotel.
