Pushkar's Holy Lake

Pushkar lake and town in Rajasthan

Pushkar, is one of my personal favorite towns in India. It’s free from the usual kerfuffle of traffic and noise. Built around a holy lake, Pushkar is a place of pilgrimage for many Hindus and a safe haven for travelers wanting some quiet time. It’s also famed for having the only temple dedicated to the Hindu god Brahma. This photo was taken at sunset. Pushkar, Rajasthan.

Our 16-day meditation retreat to northwestern India begins on the 24th of October and will explore much of Rajasthan.
