Mount Machhapuchhre or Fishtail stands at 6,993m in the Himalayas of Nepal. The photo was taken at sunrise from Ghulakot.

“With courage you will dare to take risks, have the strength to be compassionate, and the wisdom to be humble. Courage is the foundation of integrity.” - Keshavan Nair, Author – Gandhi Biographer

Photo: One of the most memorable experiences for me in 2010 was watching the sun rise over the Himalayas as we stood on a peak in Ghulakot, Nepal. It was on one of the mornings on our spiritual adventure to the Himalayas of Nepal and North India in October this year. The surroundings were breathtaking and the experience ineffable as the group watched the first rays of light caress Mount Machhapuchhre or Fishtail which stands at 6,993m (22,942 ft).
