A Rajasthani Lady

Traditional rajasthan woman

This photo was taken while on an exploratory drive on the outskirts of the village of Luni south of Jodhpur. I visited this sweet family who welcomed me into their mud structured home and to lovely cup of chai (Indian tea). Before leaving I asked the lady of the house if I was able to photograph her. She said yes and posed for the shot. She was elegantly dressed and carried herself very well despite her humble surroundings.
