A few years ago, Brian Rose invited me back for a second interview on his show, London Real. We covered a range of topics in that conversation but here is one part of it that I wanted to share. It was on reincarnation and children. Here’s an edited transcript of it.
Dandapani: In the first four years of a child’s life, they’re often telling you about their previous life.
Brian, if you took your wife and your kids and you went to Asia. You go to India, Nepal, hike the Himalayas, and more. You have a fabulous time with your family for a month. When you come back home to London, what will you be talking about in the first few days you are home?
Brian: My trip.
Dandapani: You’ll tell your team and your friends all about it. Show them photos and videos. Imagine if you went on an 80-year vacation. What would you talk about afterwards?
Brian: My trip.
Dandapani: So, if you live for 80 years and you die and reincarnate. You talk about your last trip. Your kids are telling you about the previous life they had. Who they were. Where they lived. What they did. Who they knew.
And because most parents are not familiar with the concept of reincarnation they often can dismiss quickly what their children are telling them. They view it as stories their child has made up. “Oh, Johnny is talking again about being a soldier. He must have seen something on TV or his friends at kindergarten were talking to him about it.”
Observation is born out of one’s ability to focus.
Perhaps not. Perhaps he’s telling you about his previous life.
The best thing you can do with children is just be completely observant. Really observe and listen to what they are trying to tell you. Once you understand where they came from it is easier to guide them in this life. And in order to be observant you need to be focused. Observation is born out of one’s ability to focus. Learn to focus and practice it so you can be good at it. Its rewards are endless.
