Are you putting the tools into practice?
April 12, 2020 • Insights on Life, Learn
For those of us who are blessed, life in this world enveloped in a pandemic continues.
I’ve shared five posts so far and in each of them I have outlined a practice, a goal and homework for you to do. Starting with understanding the mind.
Why the mind and why the emphasis on mental wellness?
In the days, weeks and months ahead you will be forced to navigate many challenging experiences and make many difficult decisions. Sometimes even on a daily basis. You will find yourself in situations you’ve never been in before. The state of your mind will dictate how you respond to each situation and what decisions you make. Both of these have consequences which you, your loved ones and business must live with.
It is well worth you investing the time now to focus on your mental health (besides maintaining safe physical practices prescribed by the authorities).
In this post I want to check in with you to see how many of you have actually done what I have prescribed so far?
I don’t want to keep posting practices if you are not going to do anything about it.
These posts are not meant to inspire or entertain you. They are meant to empower you with tools so that you can safeguard your mental health and strengthen your mind to help you through this crisis.
Please put these tools into practice. They are powerful when you commit to performing them, but won’t benefit you if you don’t actively practice them.
Which of these have you put into practice?
In my next post, I’ll share with you another tool that you can use to handle and mitigate emotions that are overwhelming you. It is also a great tool to work with unresolved emotional experiences that may be arising in your mind due to the stress that you may be feeling.
I also have a FAVOR to ask of you. I’ve put together a page on my website to help as many people as possible with FREE tools and insights for mental wellness. It also has a Google translate button at the top of the page so it can be translated into other languages. Please share this with as many people as you know that can benefit from it.

Please put the tools into daily practice.
Stay strong. Stay Safe. Stay Home.
Part 2 – Let’s Talk Meditation
Everybody and their dog has an opinion on meditation (including me). Most of these folks don’t meditate or have never been formally trained or even more so seriously committed to one meditation path. The latter truly is a telltale sign of how seriously one takes his or her meditation practice. Wh...

I’m starting the year by writing a 3-part series on meditation with the goal of bringing some clarity around it and dispelling a few myths. First things, first. Let’s get clear on terminology. This is important because we want to train our subconscious to understand the specific meaning of a word...

If I can accept myself for where I am in my evolution, then I can accept others for where they are in their evolution. As a Hindu and from personal experiences, I believe and subscribe to the concept of reincarnation. Simply said, reincarnation describes a belief that we are a soul living in a ph...

Well, it has been a really long time since I’ve sent one of these emails out. Apologies for my hiatus. October and November were filled with events I spoke at in the US, across Europe and in India. My travels culminated with a retreat that I held in South India where I led a group…
