The Energy Alchemist

Your life is a manifestation of where you invest your energy, so stop leaking it to draining people and invest it in what truly matters.

Life is a manifestation of where you invest your energy. I’ve been investing so much of my energy over the years to create a life here.

There are a few things that we all should learn and know. Firstly, how the mind works. Then learning to focus. Followed by the understanding of how our energy works. And once we have a decent understanding of this, then knowing our purpose in life.

Why do I think the above items are crucial? If you don’t understand how your mind works and you can’t focus it, then it is going to be difficult to begin the journey of getting to know yourself. And if you can’t get to know yourself then it’s going to be difficult to know your purpose in life. Your purpose tells you where to focus your energy resulting in you living your most authentic life. The by-product of this is happiness and the ability to look back at your life at the point of death with the knowing that you lead a truly rewarding life.

Your purpose tells you where to focus your energy resulting in you living your most authentic life.

One of the first steps in all of this is to stop the hemorrhaging of energy. So many people lose so much of their energy each day to people and things that are not aligned with them and who intentionally consume their energy. How can we even begin the process of accumulating, harnessing and focusing our energy if we are constantly being drained of it.

Often so much of our energy is drained by toxic people in our life. Navigating those relationships is not always easy as sometimes these Energy Vampires are family members or relatives. Perhaps even a friend or a work colleague.

It helps to have a practical and systematic approach to identify Energy Vampires, gentle but firm ways to set boundaries in our interactions with them, and if needed, compassionate ways to detach yourself from them without guilt.

By firmly setting a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, we protect ourselves which then allows us the opportunity to be the best version of ourselves in order to serve the people that we love in the best possible way.
