The great Thar Desert

We continue with our series of photographs from Rajasthan after taking a week long break to cover the recent Hindu Youth Camp in West Virginia that I was invited to teach at. Today’s photo was taken at the Great Thar Desert also known as the Great Indian Desert. It is located in the northwestern point of the Indian subcontinent and forms a natural boundary between India and Pakistan.

We’ll spend one night in the Great Thar Desert during our upcoming 2-week meditation retreat in northwestern India.
