Ayurveda and Yoga Retreat in South India
August 2, 2017 • Spiritual Adventures
An invitation to join Jasmine Grace on a Vedic Adventure in South India from Nov 29 to Dec 10, 2017.
“On my upcoming fifth trip to India, I feel it is a deep honor to guide beautiful beings through the soul-stirring and beautiful land of India.
In true Dandapani style, this is no ordinary yoga and meditation retreat or vacation—it is a Spiritual Adventure designed to invite your spirit to ignite and shine from inside out. This retreat is unique to past odysseys in that we will have a focus on the ancient science of Ayurveda (the sister science to yoga), all Eight Limbs of Yoga and Vedic Hindu wisdom and . . . the retreat will be led by me—Jasmine Grace! From these teachings, we will create personalized daily wellness and spiritual rituals with practical tools to support balance, stress management, and living your best life. We believe everything you need is within you – it is just a matter of finding it again and coming home to your whole and beautiful Self, your True Nature.
The beginning of anything great begins with the seed of intention. As I close my eyes and go within, I imagine a journey with like-minded souls together on a Spiritual Adventure into the mystical and practical teachings of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Vedic philosophy. Together we will be in flow from simple healing yoga, meditation, and spiritual practices in the morning, move on to practical Ayurvedic and spiritual classes during the day—along with ample free time for integration, self-reflection, excursions, and spa treatments—then conclude with evenings filled with traditional South Indian food, entertainment, yoga nidra, and satsang. This will be a trip of a lifetime that will provide you with the experiences, tools, and resources to take home and integrate into your daily life for personal growth.
The itinerary we have chosen is carefully curated to explore and integrate the inner and outer Self – the internal and external worship of living life in all its wholeness. For each location, we have carefully chosen accommodations that will support your wellness journey and deep spiritual discovery.
From the stunning sea-salt views, to hammocks and magical nooks for reflection and personal time, to grand swimming pools, to Ayurvedic spa treatments, to henna by local women, to classes under a banyan tree, to yoga and meditation in locations connected to nature and steeped in years of practice . . . . From an abundance of healthy South Indian food with all the six tastes, to the chanting of the morning fisherman (and your own), to the warm smiles of the staff and locals, to the hustle and bustle of the markets, to the peaceful Kerala backwaters, to the ringing of temple bells and sacred fire ceremonies . . . in all our locations and adventures you will experience the overwhelming magic that is India.
Let its ancient cultures and traditions mystify you, its exotic foods take you on a culinary voyage of its own, its wonderful people charm you, its spirituality reveal the beauty of your soul, and its ancient medicinal teachings heal you. This is a journey of self-transformation through a land of soul-stirring spiritual experiences.
If you are inspired to join me you can learn more about our Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat here or apply here.”
In peace,
Jasmine Grace
