How well do you listen?
These days listening is a rare trait. It is rare because most people have great difficulty in concentrating. Another area in life where concentration plays a big part to me is in building relationships with people. One of the ways to build relationships with people is the ability to listen. But you cannot listen if you cannot concentrate and a lot of people these days aren’t very good listeners because they are perpetually being distracted. I find that my ability to concentrate helps me to listen when somebody is speaking. When I am speaking with someone I give him or her my undivided attention.
