Inspiring morning of yoga and meditation in Byron Bay
Greetings from beautiful Byron Bay, Australia. What an amazing morning we had today. Truly inspiring. Yoga and meditation on the beach with 49 entrepreneurs who are members of the Entrepreneurs’ Organizations Brisbane chapter. Perfect weather and setting. A couple of bystanders told us that while were meditation a pod of dolphins came and swam near us and as soon as we were done with our meditation they swam away. And far above us a solar eclipse was taking place. Perfect start to the retreat taking place at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa.
We gather on the beach at 7:15am for yoga and meditation on Byron Bay’s spectacular beach.
Sharing with everyone the outline for our morning on the beach.
Taking everyone through a few rounds of sun salutations.
After a few rounds of sun salutations, we sit to meditate. Sharing with everyone that meditation is not a clearing of the mind rather a concentration of your awareness on thing.
Paul Elmslie on the left of me is the Learning Chair for the Brisbane chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and he did a remarkable job organizing a truly uplifting retreat.
As were doing our morning practices on the beach a solar eclipse was taking place high above us. I borrowed a lady’s solar viewing glasses and stuck my camera lens behind it to get this shot.
